She may have hopped off the plane with a dream and her cardigan, but Miley Cyrus has since shed a few layers of clothing and developed some strange tastes in accessories.

Style Hunter: Taylor Swift's 'Haters Gonna Hate' unicorn T-shirt

At the Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift had a message for her critics: “Haters Gonna Hate.”

To mark her first performance of “22″ on television, Swift wore a “Haters Gonna Hate” unicorn graphic tee. Though it is rooted in hip hop, Swift made the catchphrase her own — the words are in spelled out in glitter inside a rainbow-colored cloud that hovers over an image of the mythical creature.

Where did Swift get her cheeky T-shirt?  READ FULL STORY

'Carrie Diaries' costume designer Eric Daman on re-styling Carrie Bradshaw

Carrie Bradshaw may be back on TV, but don’t expect to see her running around in Manolos anytime soon.

“Everyone’s going to be watching and hoping she’s in Manolos in high school, but I think they’re going to be pleasantly surprised that she’s in Keds and it makes sense [because] they’re leopard Keds,” says Eric Daman, costume designer for The Carrie Diaries, the 80s prequel to Sex and the City that premièred last night.

“[I looked at] how [SATC’s Carrie] would mix things up and play around with style and push the envelope a little bit,” says Daman, who worked on SATC under legendary costume designer Patricia Field and later helmed the costume department for Gossip Girl. “I wanted to keep that kind of linear with the younger Carrie, but of course making it more teen appropriate.”

Read on to get the scoop on Carrie’s most notable looks from last night’s episode.

Style Hunter: Catherine's boots on 'Beauty and the Beast'

You saw it? You liked it? We’ll find it! We’re here to help PopStyle fans track down clothes, accessories, and more must-have items they’ve spotted on their favorite TV shows and in the movies.

Nicole asks: Can you please help me find the boots and ring that Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) wears on Beauty and the Beast? Thanks a lot!

Beauty and the Beast’s crime-fighting detective Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) may not get to wear a lot of slinky dresses or stilettos, but that’s not to say she doesn’t have style. “Her clothing is simple and effortless – but she manages to always look fantastic,” said costumer Shelley Mansell, who worked on the pilot episode, in an e-mail.

Mansell said Catherine’s wardrobe is full of functional staples like leather jackets, jeans and boots. “Catherine is always on the go and the boots give her character a subtle edge,” explained Mansell, who purchased the Pakros boots ($219) in the photo above from a retail store in Toronto called Get Outside.

As for Catherine’s accessories, including her ring (pictured below), which was purchased from Sears, Mansell said they include “subtle touches of bohemian,” while “soft, subtle prints complete the look.”

Lauren asks: Where can I find the dress Mindy Kaling is wearing in this picture? I love it!

Kaling rocked this curve-friendly mini when she painted the town red in this week’s episode of The Mindy Project, appropriately titled “In the Club.” After convincing her co-workers to join her, Mindy takes on the night in an attention-demanding body con dress.

“We wanted a bold, colorful look for the club scene, Mindy loved it because it was effortless, young and chic,” says costume designer Salvador Perez. “We had seen the dress, so when they wrote the club scene, we immediately [went out and] picked it up.” Considering the way Mindy’s night turned out — hello VIP section upgrade and a potential new love interest! — it was worth every penny.
