Grammys Best Dressed: Who struck fashion gold? -- POLL

There was a parade of golden girls at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Taylor Swift said she felt bulletproof in her chainmail inspired lamé and crystal mesh Gucci Premiere gown.

Rita Ora tried something different, opting to wear a metallic Lanvin cocktail dress — described by the label as “absinthe green” with “lavender undertones” — that was totally rock ‘n roll.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Chrissy Teigen — who became Mrs. John Legend last fall — was dazzling in a strapless gown by designer Johanna Johnson.

Fashion Face-Off: Helen Mirren vs. Rita Ora -- POLL

At 68, Helen Mirren is a senior citizen style icon. Not only does she still rock stripper shoes, pull off pink hair, and look hot in a bikini, she gives much younger stars a run for their money on the red carpet.

Last week, Mirren attended the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong’s 50th anniversary gala in a cardinal red dress from Dolce & Gabbana, the same frock worn by singer Rita Ora — who is 46 years Mirren’s junior — at a London concert last month.

Ora wore the unlined version of the lace dress, giving fans a veiled view of her undergarments, while Mirren opted to layer it over a full-length white slip. Both women wore the huge cross earrings that were paired with the piece when it debuted at Dolce & Gabbana’s fall 2013 runway presentation, but Ora opted to wear a matching crucifix around her neck while Mirren slung it around her hips as a belt.

See Rita Ora's Emilio Pucci-designed Radioactive Tour costumes

Jay-Z protegé Rita Ora may be a new voice on the charts, but the British singer pulled a veteran move when she enlisted a well-known fashion designer to create the costumes for her first UK tour.

Ora will wear a range of outfits re-interpreted from Pucci’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection on her Radioactive Tour, which kicked off Manchester, England on Monday.

How exactly did the up-and-comer snag fresh off the runway looks for her big moment? The “Hot Right Now” singer — who counts Gwen Stefani among her biggest fashion influences — and Pucci creative designer Peter Dundas hit it off when they met at Bergdorf Goodman’s 111th anniversary party last October, and their creative partnership began soon after.

“From the moment I met Rita we’ve had a great connection and doing something like this together felt like only a natural progression,” Dundas said in a statement released by Pucci.  “The costumes have impact and flamboyance in a way that feels personal to Rita whilst staying true to the Emilio Pucci aesthetic.”

Fashion Face-Off: Rita Ora vs. Rihanna

Is Rita Ora a fashion copycat? In the past, fashion bloggers have accused the British singer of taking style cues from Rihanna, and her appearance on the red carpet at last night’s MTV European Music Awards didn’t help disprove the theory. (Nor did the fact that she worked an umbrella — ella, ella —  into her performance.)

While Ora made a dramatic entrance in Marchesa’s blood embroidered illusion dress, her look echoed the vision of Rihanna in a sheer crimson Elie Saab gown at the 2010 American Music Awards.

To be fair, many A-list ladies have chosen to wear the fiery color on the carpet this year. Still, we have to ask; Rita or RiRi, who looked hotter in red? Cast your vote in the poll below.
