Another season of New York Fashion Week has wrapped, but you can still get into the groove with the playlist behind designer Lauren Moffatt‘s Spring 2013 collection.

Moffatt’s cozy coats, high-waisted pants, sweet dresses and other cabin-ready separates were mostly inspired by a weekend in the Catskills, but songs by The Rolling Stones, The Almighty Defenders and Canned Heat also played a big part in the designer’s creative process.

“I’m really drawn to songs that blur the lines between new and old,” the designer told EW of her taste in music, which echos the vintage-meets-modern feel of her designs. “I love that you can’t really tell what era the songs on this mixtape are from. Fabienne DelSol released Pas Gentille in 2007, though it sounds like it could have been recorded in the ’60’s with Vashti Bunyan and Nico. Holly Golightly could also pass as a ’60s crooner, even though her most recent album came out last year. That timeless quality makes bands that are all over the map fit together really well.”
