From beading to crystals and a flurry of sequins, the stars were in full glitter mode at Sunday night’s Oscars, but Adele was one of the few celebrities to give us a double dose of shine.
On the red carpet, the “Skyfall” singer wore a beaded Jenny Packham gown, but she upped the sparkle factor even more when it came time for her performance, changing into a Burberry dress, silver Christian Louboutin ‘Bibi’ platform pumps and diamond earrings from Van Cleef and Arpels.
“My dress weighs 15 kilos [33 pounds]. It’s so heavy,” the nominee — who went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song — told Kristen Chenoweth. “So when you take a breath to do a big note, it’s a bit difficult.”
