Beyonce debuts new single, wears a skimpy bikini in H&M commercial

Beyoncé is heating things up in a new television commercial for her H&M summer campaign.

The spot is the singer’s latest ad-slash-music-video. After debut of “Mirrors” via a Pepsi commercial earlier this month, the new H&M ad — titled “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter for H&M” — features a blond Beyoncé singing the new track ”Standing on the Sun.” Among the style highlights: B gets sandy on the beach in a skimpy two-piece suit, rolls around in the surf wearing a skin-tight body con dress, and goes tribal in an embellished LBD.

“I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind,” Beyoncé said in a statement released by H&M. “It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”

Backstreet Boys relive their worst fashion moments

The Backstreet Boys were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday — the same week the quintet celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band. Yes, they’ve been around 20 years. (We just made you feel old.)

In those two decades, the band — best known for stealing our teen hearts with hits like 1997′s “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and 1999′s “I Want It That Way” — has racked up numerous honors, broken sales records, and, naturally, had their fair share of fashion faux pas.

The five-some look back on the latter, however, with nothing but good humor. We know this because when we caught up with Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean, and Kevin Richardson this weekend at an event in Hollywood, we brought with us some photos of the band’s most questionable fashion moments. Here’s what they had to say…

See the designer costumes Beyonce wears on her world tour

Last night, Beyoncé kicked off her Mrs. Carter Show world tour in Belgrade, Serbia, debuting the designer wardrobe she’ll wear as she sings her way across Europe and the United States this summer.

During her kick-off show, the woman who brought us “Freakum Dress” paraded around the stage in an array of costumes — including bedazzled bodysuits, hot pants, and thigh-high boots – by designers like Emilio Pucci, Ralph & Russo (pictured above), DSquared2, and Stuart Weitzman.

Oh yeah, and a gold sequined bodysuit patterned with trompe l’oeil breasts that makes Madonna’s Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra look demure.

Keep clicking to see more of Beyoncé’s designer tour costumes. READ FULL STORY »
