Justin Timberlake has come a long way from his boy band beginnings… and so has his hair.

JT reminded us just how much his look has evolved when he made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival to promote his newest movie project. The “Suit & Tie” singer slicked his hair back into a Mad Men-style baby pompadour before taking the stage to talk about Spinning Gold, a biopic in which he’ll play legendary ’70s record executive Neil Bogart. Although Timberlake’s current coif is totally 2013, if the Spinning Gold promo poster is any indication, he’ll be going back to his naturally curly roots to play the role.

Remember when Justin Timberlake had curly hair?  READ FULL STORY »

Think you could pull off one of the designer dresses from last night’s Met Gala? Here’s your chance.

Today, luxury e-tailer Moda Operandi — a major sponsor of this year’s Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit — launched a special trunkshow of 14 of the most wearable (though not so much affordable) looks as seen on the red carpet. The good news: Each style is available in a variety of sizes, so you don’t have to be a 00 to shop. The bad news: This is a pre-sale, which means no markdowns. So if you’re dying to have Kate Bosworth’s flashy pink party dress, get ready to pony up $26,000.

Met Gala: A dude has some questions

I know what the Met is. I know what a Gala is. I understand, in broad strokes, the basic concepts of high fashion. I know how to spell couture, I think. [Googles.] Yes, I definitely know how to spell couture. But I know almost nothing about the Met Gala. Twitter told me that, this year, there was some kind of “Punk” theme, and apparently said “Punk” theme produced hilarious fashion disasters. 1. Jennifer Lawrence is wearing a veil. When I went to high school, veils were more “goth.” How old is Jennifer Lawrence, and does she even know the difference between “goth” and “punk”? READ FULL STORY »
