The Gwyneth bashing continues
In April, Paltrow came under fire when she started selling a two-piece bikini designed for girls ages four to eight on her lifestyle blog Goop. When a British child protection agency accused Paltrow of selling a product that “sexualizes children,” the actress fired back through her spokesperson, who called the backlash “absurd,” adding that “two-piece bathing suits have been worn by young girls for decades.” The bikini controversy was just one of the many instances of Gwyneth bashing this year — her cookbook was called “the Bible of Hollywood neuroticism,” her comments about Botox drew ire from Joan Rivers, and her spring fashion must-have list included a not-so-budget-friendly $795 iPad case and a $675 T-shirt. No matter what she did, Paltrow couldn’t catch a break in 2013.
