It wasn’t just the story of the his-and-hers killing spree that brought attention to the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde. The look of both characters — Bonnie (Faye Dunaway) in her beret, tight sweater and pencil skirt and Clyde (Warren Beatty) in his chalk-stripe suit — earned costume designer Theadora Van Runkle an Oscar nomination and inspired a ’30s throwback fashion trend.

Next month, Bonnie and Clyde get the Lifetime treatment in a two-night miniseries starring Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger. Legendary wardrobe designer Marilyn Vance (The Untouchables, Pretty Woman, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Pretty in Pink) created more than 100 costumes for the title pair in the small screen retelling, and now online boutique Rue La La has unveiled a collection of clothes, shoes, and accessories inspired by the stylish Depression-era outlaws.

Watch an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Bonne and Clyde wardrobe closet guided by Vance herself and get a first look at some of the pieces in Rue La La’s Bonnie and Clyde clothing line after the jump.

Bonnie and Clyde premieres December 8 and will air simultaneously on Lifetime, A+E, and The History Channel, but you can start dressing the part now, thanks to a new fashion collaboration between the Lifetime network and Rue La La.

Pieces include J. McLaughlin’s “Bridgette” black raw edge pleated skirt ($69.90), Timberland Men’s “13 Carries” leather & suede brogue Oxford ($129.90), and Original Penguin’s true black blazer ($99.90). The line also features labels like Kenneth Jay Lane, Elie Tahari, Hermes, and Rolex, with prices ranging from $11.90 (a Magid color-block fedora) to $15,000 (a Tiffany and Co. platinum and diamond ring). Several beret styles from Calvin Klein have already sold out. See the full collection here.

Shoppers can also enter for the chance to win the Vance-designed costume that Bonnie wears in the — spoiler alert! — movie’s gory death scene.
