There’s more monster makeup magic in store for fans of Syfy’s reality competition series Face Off. The show has been renewed for a fifth season, the cable network announced Monday.

Season 5 will begin production in Los Angeles next month. Though no date has been set, the new season will premiere in summer 2013.

On the fourth season of Face Off, now airing, contestants have been challenged to create alien werewolves, bioluminescent creatures, and characters made from pieces of candy (pictured above). The season 4 finale will air on Tuesday, March 26 at 9 p.m.

The renewal will be welcome news to one of the contestants from season 4; each makeup artist eliminated this season has been given the chance to earn a spot among the next group of contestants thanks to new web series Face Off: Redemption.

Judges Glenn Hetrick, Ve Neill and Neville Page will return for the fifth season, a rep for Syfy told EW. McKenzie Westmore is also set to host the show again, while her father, celebrated makeup artist Michael Westmore, will return as a mentor.
