The countdown to Jennifer Aniston’s wedding has begun, and according to this week’s People magazine, the bride-to-be “has a dress in mind.” Still, that’s not likely to stop the full-on “What will Aniston wear?!” fashion frenzy.
The wedding dress talk started the moment news of Aniston’s engagement broke last August, and now that her April wedding to Justin Theroux is just around the corner, it has hit a fever pitch.
Will she wear a one-of-a-kind gown? Will she buy something off the rack? Will her fiance double as her wedding dress designer?
Brides magazine enlisted Reem Acra, Rafael Cennamo, Nicole Miller, and 8 other designers to sketch Jennifer Aniston fantasy gowns, and InStyle.com’s Jennifer Aniston dress predictions include runway picks from Dior, Oscar de la Renta, and Carolina Herrera. Others are looking for clues by analyzing Aniston’s red carpet fashion history, while the Belfast Telegraph is reporting that Theroux himself helped design a custom Valentino wedding gown for the bride.
We haven’t seen this much commotion since the great Kate Middleton maternity style debate back in December.
For her 2000 nuptials to Brad Pitt, Aniston wore a glass-beaded, silk-and-satin, low-backed gown designed by Lawrence Steele that was rumored to cost $50,000.
