On January 27, the Screen Actors Guild will transform L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium for the 2013 SAG Awards. According to the organization, this year’s décor is “a contemporary interpretation of the streamline moderne style that emerged during the 1930s that pays homage to old movies palaces of that era.”

Keep reading to find out just what it will take to pull off the event. 

15,872 square feet of red carpet will be rolled out for celebrities in the arrivals area.

23,530 square feet of tenting will be erected to protect the stars — and their designer gowns — in the event of rain.

3  10-foot tall Actor statues will stand along the red carpet and 2 will flank the stage.

4,575 square feet of charcoal/silver shimmer fabric will be draped across the interior Shrine entrance.

 3,600 Optique champagne, wine and water glasses, 2,400 pieces of Montecito silver flatware, 1,200 square white china dinner plates,and 1,200 Silver satin matte lined napkins will be used at the awards dinner.

2,400 additional glasses will be used to stock two 4 different bar areas — hey, Hollywood likes to party!

3,264 liters of Fiji water will be served to guests and 12,600 third-liters of Fiji water will be handed out to staff, crew and the more than 800 media and 300 fans in the bleachers.

3,000 white miniature calla lilies and white roses, thousands orchids and hundreds of stems of arabicum lilies will decorate the space.

700 crew workers will be on hand to make sure the event goes off with out a hitch.

1 magnum of Champagne Taittinger will be uncorked to kick off the proceedings with a toast, and over 600 bottles of champagne and 25 cases of wine will keep the party going through the awards dinner and gala.

The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live coast-to-coast on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT).
