Of course Barney is always going to suit up, but Kurumada is focused on making sure those suits never go out of style. ”We wanted to make sure that when you watch the show in syndication years from now, Barney still looks timeless. You’d think the suits are going to look the same the following year, but there are subtle differences. We try to stick with the classic silhouettes,” the costume designer explains.”We use a lot of Dolce & Gabbana, YSL, Prada. If we can’t find a great skinny tie to go with a certain look, we get a normal tie and cut it down ourselves.”
